The Clinton House

My wife and I went here to celebrate our 35th wedding Anniversary as we have done numerous times. She loves their Sauerbraten. I had the Filet Mignon. The food and atmosphere was first class as usual. The experience was made so much more delightful by our server, Z, a wonderful attendant who decorated our dessert with best wishes and presented us a card with greetings from the staff. Thank you to all. We will be back.

We came in during lunch time and we had a great experience. Our waitress was extremely nice and attentive. It’s a must to order their fried mushrooms and baked clams. The fried mushrooms were crispy and the dipping sauce was full of flavor. For entrees, we ordered the pan-seared salmon and beef wellington. The salmon was very crispy and the beef wellington was tendered and savory. We ordered the tiramisu for desert but they have plenty of deserts options as well. And it’s a must to ordered desert!

Come here for a birthday celebration. The food was great. The foof service was super. Don't forget to take a picture in front of the fireplace with your friends and family. There is a very pretty stain glass artwork hanging on the ceiling. It will enhance your picture a great deal. We usually call ahead to meet reservations. This restaurant is located next to a river and the Hunterton Art Museum. If you stop by and browse the art exhibition. You will not be disappointed.

Yesterday was our second time visiting the Clinton House, and once again we absolutely loved it. The atmosphere is great, and the staff friendly and attentive. Our food was once again delicious and we never felt rushed at all. Our server, John, who is also part-time management, was excellent. We will be back.

Great Restaurant in the beautiful town of Clinton. Parking is available in front and across the street with no time limit. Great place for any group gatherings. Food is always well cooked and delicious. Moderate priced items from a variety of menu options whether you order a moderate healthy meal or go all out with a 3 course meal with appetizers. Chrissy is an excellent manager and all the staff are so friendly and accommodating. I want to mention 2 recent hires, Dawn and Dee, who always go the extra mile for me and other customers.

Best fish tacos I ever had. Fireside table. Charming waitstaff— Gigi. We’ll be back. Often.

Fantastic atmosphere. Great service. Wonderful steak and lobster tail.

Stay away from the king crab legs. At 105 a pound, you are way better off with the twin lobster tails with stuffing, as opposed to what seemed to be a pound of leftover scraps. The 6 oz filet was cooked to perfection. The lobster stuffing is to die for !!! Bartender was very friendly. The atmosphere is beautiful.
